Window & Door Repair Across Nassau and Suffolk County
Prestige Window Works has been serving Long Island homeowners since 2014 from two offices — Manhasset on the Nassau County North Shore and Hauppauge in central Suffolk County. Between these two locations we cover the full length of Long Island — from the Nassau county line to the East End — with response times and local knowledge that out-of-area contractors cannot offer. Every estimate visit is free, on-site, and results in a written quote before any work begins.
We handle the complete range of window and door repair services: glass replacement, wood window repair, rotten window repair, window and door mechanism repair, storm door installation, window recaulking, screen repair and replacement, and more — all performed by trained technicians, all backed by our 5-year workmanship warranty and 10-year warranty on IGU glass installations. If your window or door has a problem, we have serviced it before on Long Island.

Windows and Doors Issues We Repair
THE MOST POPULAR QUESTIONS
How quickly can you come out for a window repair estimate on Long Island?
We typically schedule free estimate visits within 1–3 business days throughout Nassau and Suffolk County. For urgent situations — broken glass, a door that won't close or lock, or active water infiltration through a window frame — call 516-908-8005 directly rather than submitting the form, and we will prioritise your visit. Saturday appointments are available throughout Long Island.
Do you charge for the estimate visit?
No. All estimate visits are completely free and carry no obligation. We visit your Long Island property, inspect the windows and doors you've raised, assess any related conditions we find, and provide a written itemised quote before any work starts. The price in the quote is the price on the invoice — there are no add-ons after the job is started.
What areas of Long Island do you cover?
We cover all of Nassau County from our Manhasset office and all of Suffolk County from our Hauppauge office — the full length of Long Island from the Queens border to Montauk. This includes all incorporated villages, hamlets, and townships in both counties. If you are on Long Island, call 516-908-8005 and we will confirm your location is within our service area.
What window and door services do you provide?
We provide the complete range of residential window and door repair and installation services — glass replacement and IGU repair, wood window restoration, rotten frame repair, mechanism and hardware repair, window and door adjustment, storm door installation, screen repair and replacement, window recaulking, sidelight glass replacement, dog door installation, historic window restoration, and stained glass repair. See our services page for the full list. If your specific need is not listed, call us — chances are we have handled it before.
Are you licensed and insured in New York?
Yes. Prestige Window Works is fully licensed and insured in the State of New York for all window and door repair and installation services we perform on Long Island. We carry general liability insurance and comply with all applicable New York State contractor licensing requirements.
How do I know if my window needs repair or full replacement?
In the majority of cases across Long Island — including older Nassau County colonials, mid-century South Shore ranches, and newer Suffolk construction — targeted repair is the correct answer. A failed IGU seal needs glass replacement, not a new window. A rotten sill needs epoxy rebuild, not a new frame. A stuck or stiff mechanism needs hardware service, not replacement. We assess the actual condition of every window and door at the estimate visit and give you an honest recommendation — we do not default to replacement when repair is the right answer. See our about page for more on how we approach this.
