Window Glass Replacement
Cracked window glass can lead to drafts and safety concerns, as one homeowner in Garden City discovered. Their large living room window had a noticeable crack, allowing air leaks and detracting from the appearance of their home. Seeking a professional solution, they contacted Prestige Window Works for expert window glass replacement.
After a detailed assessment, the Prestige Window Works team determined that the damaged glass required replacement. They recommended installing double-pane glass, which offers durability and improved performance against external elements.
The process began with the careful removal of the cracked glass. Using specialized tools, the team safely removed the damaged pane while ensuring the window frame remained intact, avoiding any additional repairs.
Next, the window frame was thoroughly cleaned and prepped to ensure a smooth installation. This step was crucial to creating a secure fit for the replacement glass and preventing future issues.
The team then installed the custom double-pane glass, tailored to the exact dimensions of the window. Professional-grade seals were applied around the edges to secure the glass and prevent drafts or moisture infiltration.
Once the installation was complete, the team conducted a detailed inspection to ensure the glass was properly aligned and securely installed. The homeowner in Garden City was highly satisfied with the professional service and the quality of the replacement.
