Custom Screens Installation
As summer approaches, having properly fitted window and door screens is essential for keeping out pests while letting in fresh air. A recent project in Lynbrook showcased the importance of custom screen installation, as the homeowner struggled with ill-fitting, worn-out screens that allowed insects and debris inside. At Prestige Window Works, we specialize in custom-sized screens, ensuring a perfect fit for every window and door, no matter how unique the dimensions.
The biggest challenge in this job was that the homeowner’s windows weren’t standard sizes. Off-the-shelf screens simply wouldn’t work, leaving large gaps and reducing their effectiveness. We measured each opening precisely, crafting custom screens that fit snugly, eliminating gaps and ensuring a seamless look. Whether it’s a large picture window, sliding doors, or vintage casement windows, our team builds screens tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Beyond function, screen quality matters. Cheap, flimsy screens tear easily and warp over time, leading to frequent replacements. For this Lynbrook installation, we used high-durability materials that resist damage from sun exposure, pets, and weather. Our custom window screens are built to last, offering longevity without sacrificing airflow or visibility.
Another major advantage of custom screen installation is the variety of options available. From standard fiberglass mesh to pet-resistant and ultra-fine screens, homeowners can choose what works best for their lifestyle. This particular project in Lynbrook required screens that allowed ample airflow while maintaining durability, so we selected a high-performance mesh designed to withstand everyday wear and tear.
With summer right around the corner, now is the time to replace or install custom window and door screens to enjoy fresh air without worrying about pests. At Prestige Window Works, we ensure that every screen is made to fit perfectly, with expert installation for long-term performance. If your screens are damaged, ill-fitting, or outdated, let’s get them fixed before the warm weather arrives!
