Older homes, salt air, windows worth keeping
Many East End homes still have original wood windows, and salt air and storms are hard on them. We rebuild rotted sashes and sills, restore arched and custom windows, replace foggy or broken glass in the existing frame, and fix sliding-door rollers and tracks, keeping the look of the house.

What homeowners say
They did an amazing job restoring and rebuilding old rotted sunroom windows! Would highly recommend them.
We had Marvin windows that started rooting and we was able to use them anymore.Prestige the only company who was able to restore them to the condition when we are able to use it again.Very knowledgeable crew and very clean (the crew took their shoes off when they were entering rooms. Just wanted to say thank you we found you. 🤝🤝🤝.
Very professional team. I was quoted a fair price (was quoted lower than what i was told on the phone) and they repaired on the same day. Juriy came before the promised time and repaired the wood window. He cleaned the working site and the job was very well done. Would do business again.
East End questions
How to repair a double pane window without replacing it?
We replace just the sealed glass unit, not the window. We measure it, order the unit to size (matching Low-E, tempered glass or grids) and install it in your existing sash. Glass-unit installations carry our 10-year warranty.
What is the average cost to replace glass in a window?
A single pane or glass unit starts at $300 installed. The price rises with size, tempered or Low-E glass and grids; we give you the exact figure after measuring.
Is it worth restoring old wood windows?
Usually. Older Long Island wood windows were built from old-growth timber that is denser and more rot-resistant than today's wood. Rebuilding them keeps the original look, can save up to 80% compared to full replacement, and carries our 5-year warranty.
