Window Glass Replacement
A modern home in Seacliff had a major issue—one of its large glass panels was completely shattered, leaving the interior exposed to the elements. The homeowners needed a window glass replacement that matched the existing design while ensuring durability and safety. With a job this complex, precision was key, and our team was ready to tackle the challenge.
We started by carefully removing the broken glass, ensuring that no fragments remained within the frame. Large window installations like this require strategic handling, especially when working at heights. Since this home in Seacliff featured floor-to-ceiling glass panels, we used specialized lifting equipment to safely extract and dispose of the damaged section.
With the old glass removed, we measured the opening precisely, ensuring the new panel would fit seamlessly. This was a custom-sized installation, so we sourced a high-quality tempered glass panel, which is known for its strength and durability. This type of glass is resistant to impact and extreme weather, making it ideal for homes in coastal areas like Seacliff.
Once the new glass was ready, we carefully positioned it into the frame, securing it with a high-performance sealant to prevent moisture infiltration. We reinforced the edges and ensured a perfect fit before cleaning off any excess material. The final step was testing the structural integrity of the window and making sure everything was properly aligned.
The transformation was striking. The home, once exposed due to the broken window, now looked flawless with its seamless glass replacement. The homeowners were thrilled with how quickly we completed the project and how well the new glass blended with the surrounding panels. It was a complete success.
