Door Replacement
A homeowner in Jericho was dealing with an old, worn-out door. The door had cracks and gaps, allowing drafts to enter and making the home less comfortable. Seeking a solution that would enhance both the appearance and functionality of their backdoor, they reached out to Prestige Window Works for a professional door replacement.
The process started with an in-depth inspection of the existing door frame and structure. The team at Prestige Window Works confirmed that the frame was still in solid condition and prepared it for the new door installation. Once the area was cleared and ready, they took careful measurements to ensure the new door would fit perfectly, avoiding any future drafts or security issues.
Prestige Window Works provided the homeowner with a high-quality, insulated door designed to improve energy efficiency and add a modern touch to the home’s exterior. The door was custom-cut to fit the entryway in Jericho, ensuring a seamless integration with the existing frame and enhancing both durability and insulation.
During installation, the team meticulously aligned the door within the frame, applying weather-resistant sealant around the edges. This sealant not only prevents drafts but also shields the home from moisture, reducing the risk of future damage. The durable construction of the new door also provides an added layer of security, giving the homeowner peace of mind.
After installation, Prestige Window Works performed a final inspection to verify that the door was perfectly aligned and secure. The homeowner was delighted with the results, as the new door not only improved the home’s energy efficiency but also gave it a fresh, updated look that increased curb appeal.
